Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples and/or family therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices
Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and ethical standards
Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure professional growth and alignment with organizational goals
Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health treatments and techniques
Collaborate with other professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive client care
Qualifications
Master’s degree or doctorate in counseling, social work, psychology or related field
Active licensure in Illinois, e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent
Specialized training in EMDR, trauma therapy or related approaches (preferred)
Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals in non-monogamous relationships and the LGBTQIAP community
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to maintaining a compassionate, nonjudgmental therapeutic approach

Remote and in person
This role is designed for pre-licensed clinicians who have completed graduate coursework and are working toward full licensure. Under the supervision of licensed therapists, pre-licensed clinicians provide therapeutic services while gaining the experience and supervision hours needed for licensure. This is an opportunity to refine clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, couple and family therapy services to clients, under the supervision of a licensed clinician
Conduct intake assessments and collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and ethical standards
Participate in weekly supervision sessions and implement feedback to improve clinical practice
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with opportunities to receive training in approaches such as EMDR and trauma-focused interventions
Engage in case consultation and coordination with other mental health professionals and community resources as needed
Attend staff meetings and contribute to discussions on client care and practice development
Stay informed on current mental health practices, research and advancements in the field
Qualifications
Completed master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field
Actively pursuing licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent in Illinois
Experience or interest in working with diverse populations, including trauma survivors, non-monogamous relationships and the LGBTQIAP community
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
