    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide individual, couples and/or family therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices

    • Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans

    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and ethical standards

    • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure professional growth and alignment with organizational goals

    • Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health treatments and techniques

    • Collaborate with other professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive client care

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree or doctorate in counseling, social work, psychology or related field

    • Active licensure in Illinois, e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent

    • Specialized training in EMDR, trauma therapy or related approaches (preferred)

    • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals in non-monogamous relationships and the LGBTQIAP community

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Commitment to maintaining a compassionate, nonjudgmental therapeutic approach

  • Remote and in person

    This role is designed for pre-licensed clinicians who have completed graduate coursework and are working toward full licensure. Under the supervision of licensed therapists, pre-licensed clinicians provide therapeutic services while gaining the experience and supervision hours needed for licensure. This is an opportunity to refine clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide individual, couple and family therapy services to clients, under the supervision of a licensed clinician

    • Conduct intake assessments and collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans

    • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and ethical standards

    • Participate in weekly supervision sessions and implement feedback to improve clinical practice

    • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with opportunities to receive training in approaches such as EMDR and trauma-focused interventions

    • Engage in case consultation and coordination with other mental health professionals and community resources as needed

    • Attend staff meetings and contribute to discussions on client care and practice development

    • Stay informed on current mental health practices, research and advancements in the field

    Qualifications

    • Completed master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field

    • Actively pursuing licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent in Illinois

    • Experience or interest in working with diverse populations, including trauma survivors, non-monogamous relationships and the LGBTQIAP community

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills

    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
